Dr. Justus has almost a decade of Digital Health and AI work experience with insurance, pharma and medtech companies internationally and conducted his PhD at the chair of Experimental Bioinformatics at the Technical University Munich about AI implementation in healthcare. He is Manager at Syte and HuCa as well as member of the Focus Group on AI implementation of the European Commission. A special focus area is AI for major disease areas as for example Diabetes, Heart Insufficiency and Chronic Kidney Disease.

A consultant physician with a board certification in preventive medicine and a post-doctoral fellowship in health informatics from the School of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, United States, and a master’s degree in public health (MPH) from Johns Hopkins University, specializing in leadership and health management, in addition to the American Board of Public Health and a Project Management Certification (PMP).
